Adult Fellowships

Women’s Fellowship
Started in 1949 (as the Women’s Guild) the Women’s Fellowship meets the second Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Their meetings are a mixture of religious study and interests. These ladies are frequently called the backbone of the Church bearing out their motto: “By Love Serve”. They spearhead arrangements for special services, such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

Once a year they join in an Island-wide conference and members also attend the annual conference in Jamaica. Each year they choose a different theme to concentrate on, which always helps some part of the community – e.g. elderly, youth, indigent, imprisoned. At Christmas time the Women’s Fellowship distributes gifts to needy members of the Church and community. They host a birthday party at The Pines Retirement home annually and sponsor a child at one of the foster homes operated by the Church in Jamaica.

If there is a need the women will try their utmost to fill it.

Men’s Fellowship
This Fellowship is small but its overall goal is to unite the men of the Church into one brotherhood in Christ, to gather together men who are believers in Christ. They endeavour to take on projects within the church and community, in particular mentoring boys and young men. For more information please contact the Church office.

Senior Citizens
All senior citizens in the district are invited for a time of fellowship and discovery. The group participates in activities such as visits to the library and a dolphin park, guest speakers and making Easter cards for the children of the After School Programme. For more information please contact the Church office.
